Editorial   

 

O quinto número da Intellector chega com uma gama diversificada de autores. Do eixo ibérico temos os autores portugueses Francisco Galamas (Terrorismo e Armas de Destruição Maciça), Hélder Lukeny Bravo Rosa (A Importância do Brasil na CPLP)  e o autor espanhol Heike Pintor Pirzkall (El Cooperante Silencioso: los Inicios de la Cooperación al Desarrollo de la República Federal de Alemania en América Latina). Tais artigos são de grande importância pois trazem uma perspectiva européia da realidade histórica e das relações internacionais da América Latina.

Dos pesquisadores latino-americanos temos a chilena Cecília Quintana Binimelis  (Em Torno da Geopolítica Alemã) e o argentino Adolfo Koutoudjian (Determinantes Geo-económicos de la Política Mundial). Os artigos trazem grandes contribuições para o entendimento da Geopolítica e dos aspectos econômicos que moldam as correlações de força no  cenário internacional.

Finalizando temos o artigo de Severino Cabral Filho (O Brasil, a China e Macau: Pontes entre Mundos, Diálogo de Civilizações) sobre as interfaces que unem Brasil, China e Macau, no século XXI. Século este, que deve englobar brasileiros e chineses numa posição de destaque no sistema-mundo.

Terrorismo e armas de destruição maciça  Abstract This essay has the objective of alerting to a new type of terrorism that became visible with the attacks of 11th September of 2001, e a junction of the latter with weapons of mass destruction. The analysis will focus on the possible consequences according with the type of weapon used, since these weapons have different utilities and possibilities, as well the motivations of the religious terrorism for the use of weapons of mass destruction. A importância do Brasil na CPLP Abstract This article has the goal of demonstrating the existing links between Brazil and the other member States of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP), the fundamental role of Brazil in this institution without forgetting the value that the this same institution might have for the Brazilian foreign policy. El cooperante silencioso: los inicios de la cooperación al desarrollo de la República Federal de Alemania en América LatinaAbstract  Analysis of the first period in the German development cooperation. Study of the influences and development of German cooperation in Latin America. The period studied is from its beginnings in the ´50 to the ´70. Emphasis is made on its silent and limited cooperation during this period but creating a base for a solid and constant cooperation along the following decades. Em torno das Origens da Geopolítica Alemã Abstract This paper aims to explore the historical, geographic and philosophical origins that made possible the construction of the German geopolitical thought which greatly influenced Hitler´s national socialist government. It is of great interest to know the development of this matter due to the present conceptual ambiguity of geopolitics and the use of these studies by the big powers (in similar versions as those developed in Germany) in order to solve political and economical conflicts. Determinantes geo-económicos de la política mundial Abstract One of the determinant factors of the global geopolitical development is characterized by the recurrent and bitter contention pursuiting the domain of strategical natural resources, energy especially. The one who controled this resources, will have the power to regulate the rate of the global economic growth. The principal actors of this struggle are EE.UU., Western Europe and Eastern Asia. Other natural resources acquaire crescent geo-economic significance through its progressive depletion. Simultaneously, on the frame of the regional geopolitical dynamic arise other mains actors as Russia, China, India and Brazil. ¿How does Argentina insert in this context? O Brasil, a China e Macau: ponte entre mundos, diálogo de civilizações Abstract  The study of the relationship between Brazil, China and Macau has  been historically left aside by Brazilian analysts.
